I have recently moved to the area and my GP needed to refer me for a hospital appointment. I was told I had to through DART to make this appointment and that I would be sent a booking number and password.
I have been trying to contact them for the last three days. The first two days I called I was told by automated message that I was in the queue. I then they were receiving a high volume of calls and I was cut off. This happened every time I called.
When I tried again yesterday I was told the team were in training so I could not book an appointment then.
I called again today and the line is still busy. I have tried to call my GP to discuss with them but all I get is their answer phone.
I am alright with all these new systems if they are, as they claim to be, more efficient but as of yet I am unable to speak to anyone.
"Told the lines were busy"
