"The posters titled Our Promise To You are a joke"

About: Royal Sussex County Hospital

I have been an inpatient for over 9 weeks at the royal Sussex county. Every 2 weeks the doctors change over and so there is little continuity of care and I have been told different things by different doctors! They have these posters everywhere saying our promise to you where they list several points. In my care they have failed on almost every point. Since I've been in hospital I have caught sepsis 3 times and also c diff infection! I never get told the results of my daily blood tests, my medications get changed or lowered or adjusted without any prior consultation with me. The majority of the nurses on the digestive diseases ward on level 9a in the millennium wing are excellent though. That's when there not short staffed. Also I'm disabled and need assistance with washing and sometimes there's only been 2 healthcare assistants on and other times there's as many as 5!
