About: Bmi - The Esperance Hospital

I had a pre op assesment and it was deemed the surgery would be better done at the DGH and the staff nurse said she would pass the details on to the DJH .I had heard nothing so I contacted the DGH and the information had not been forwared to the DGH

The experience you describe is certainly not what we would expect. The public nature of this website and our duty to protecting your confidentiality means that I cannot respond in great detail here, but I wanted to reassure you and anyone else reading this that experiences like the one you describe are extremely rare and certainly not what we wish for our patients. I have looked in to this thoroughly and we have taken action at the hospital.
