"What a fantastic Ward"

About: Borders General Hospital / Paediatrics (Ward 15)

(as a service user),

Just want to say how well looked after my daughter was while on ward 15, as a parent I was very anxious taking her into hospital as she was only 9 months old but everyone made us feel so welcome, in paricular Anne, Sandie and Fiona and student nurses Megan and Shonie, they even made sure I got something to eat as I couldn't leave my daughter alone, what a fantastic ward.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate what an anxious time this would have been for you and am sure the staff who cared for your daughter will be delighted to know you felt well cared for. It is great to get feedback as we can use this to continue doing the things we do well and if there are things we can improve on we can ensure this happens. I hope your daughter has recovered well.
