I hobbled up there after hours on public transport (our SW London burns unit being closed) to these marvellous staff and doctors. A fairyland of great people! Anyway, my burnt knees were sorted out rapidly and I must admit the service was fab. I recommend the Burns Unit to anyone whose appendages are a bit blackened and smoking. What I do not understand is the (only) burns unit around
SW London is not mentioned in the hospitals drop-down menu - if you go to https://www.nhs.uk/Services/hospitals/Services/DefaultView.aspx?id=1528 then the unit is not even mentioned. I understand the 2-speed stuff, but why ask the public to leave feedback on a unit that is invisible?
Nonetheless, the staff were beyond the call of duty and perhaps I am just upset that I can't leave a feedback that is more specific, why is the Burns Unit not featured on the C&K drop-down menu? You were great and I can only hope the Trust acknoledges soon that you exist. It was lovely meeting such a great team. RM
