"Wouldn’t even bother"

About: Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust

I went to my GP after trying to end my life and feeling hopelessly down. She referred me to these, and they made an appointment to come and visit me. They re arranged the appointment and by the time they finally

bothered to come out I was doing a little better. They were in and out within half an hour and didn’t seem to listen to what I had to say, just dismissing it as I was a little depressed and throwing a load of leaflets and booklets at me with who to call and telling me to start counselling and call them again If I needed to. I didn’t felt like I was taken seriously at all.

Within a few days I was desperate again, tried to contact them and the woman who answered just said that looking at my file there was no further treatment needed and to contact my GP for counselling sessions there. I tried telling her no I needed help NOW, and got told that someone would call me soon.

3 hours passed and I ended up taking an overdose and gave up hope.

These are USELESS. They say they’re there to help but it just seems as if your an inconvenience. No wonder so many people have lost there lives when your begging for help and they can’t even be bothered to call you back
