Saturday 12th May.
111 sent out an ambulance to see my husband who had jaw pain and neck swelling. Ambulance medics checked him over didn’t know what was wrong so recommended we attend a walk in clinic.
We arrived at Sheppey clinic around 12.40pm.
I commented to my husband that waiting time shouldn’t be long as there were only a handful of people waiting.
The receptionist looked at us after we had explained the problem and said 4hr waiting time.
I said 4hrs ? It doesn’t look very busy in here.
She replied well it’s 4hrs. We were expecting a 2 hour wait but considering the amount of people in the waiting room
I was thinking maybe an hour at the most.
We left but decided to go back later in the day.
We returned at 5.30pm the same receptionist on the desk.
She looked at us and said there aren’t any Doctors’s available.
Considering it’s open until 8pm there should be doctors on the premises at 5.30.
We left went home and called a medoc.
"Awful receptionist total lack of interest"
