After ringing 111 due to extreme pain I was told to go to a&e within the hour we where seen very quickly by a lovely nurse and then waited to see a dr. Which again happened very quickly but the care we received from the dr was poor, she did no examination on me, no vital signs where taken... they did urine sample that showed I was dehydrated and was told I should be drinking 4litres if water and it would cause an infection if I didn’t.... so I’m really dehydrated but no action taken, in terms of pain I had maxed out on painkillers I could take at home hense why I was in and they wouldn’t give me anything stronger but sent me home with what I already have? They say I need a scan and to see if they will do it a routine appointment I have Monday at the JR but I highly doubt I will... when I asked what am I meant to do in the mean time for pain the response I got was I need to see a surgeon or a gynea dr which they don’t have so if I can’t cope then go to another hospital! I’m saddened and shocked by the treatment we received and I felt so under valued like she didn’t care and wanted me out the dr! So I am back home and still in pain after very little investigating and treatment!
