"Day Surgery"

I was seen in clinic about a month ago and then admitted for day surgery yesterday for the removal of a melanoma and lymph node. On both occasions I was seen on time by very caring, professional staff. I was quite nervous of having a general anaesthetic yesterday but everyone was very understanding and calming. The pre-op assessment was very efficient and quickly done, the anaesthetic was much easier than I had anticipated and the next I knew was waking up in recovery two hours later. All the staff there were as caring and lovely as I have come to expect from QVH, and I was soon well enough to be discharged.

I am sure no-one enjoys having surgery but everyone helped to make it such a positive experience - Thankyou so much
