"Pembrooke House Surgery - Paignton - Full of Praise but one dislike"

I have nothing but Praise for the staff and medical team at this practice. they do 

their best to make you feel at ease, and just one little thing i dont like

The one thing i dont like:-  Is when you ring for an appointment in the fact that you are then told you will be given a slot for a doctor to ring you back at a certain time to give you a consultation over the phone then if deemed necessary you will given a appointment to come to the surgery. I came in 1 week ago for an appointment as i was referred by my opticians as a matter of urgency to see a doctor and  was told by the receptionist on Tuesday there were no appointments and a doctor couldn't ring till Thursday  for a phone consultation, I  thought that a little poor. I was not there to receive the call as the next day i was in hospital.........but bless her she did ring Thursday 3 times  Other than that its fine.

Someone comment on a previous story that there was never anywhere to sit in the waiting room and they are too small  I have only used the upstairs waiting room OK its smaller than the one downstairs but I haven't found this to be the case they soon empty.

Little pointer at  my last surgery they had music playing faintly in the background while u wait to be seen that was quite a comfort and relaxing.

The waiting rooms are nice and airy and bright with lots of information on the walls.
