"Broadened my skills with facilitating recovery groups"

About: Community mental health services / Recovery College

(as a staff member),

Attended various courses with often service users and often alone for my own personal understanding of how service users live with various conditions and also to widen my skill levels with understanding how helps and what does not help.

Being the ward occupational therapist I also further broadened my skills with facilitating recovery groups on the ward.

My name is Farai and I am the Engagement & Experience Co-ordinator for the Trust.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about the various courses you attended at the Recovery College. I am pleased to read that you as well as broadening your wider knowledge of mental health, you will also be able to use these skills to support the service users on your ward.
