"Absolutely Dreadful"

My doctor seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth, with no explanation from the surgery, we now have locums. This meant an entire week of emergency only appointments then the following week you need to ring a 8am for an appointment on the day, no advanced appointments. I am trying to get an appointment for the contraceptive pill for my daughter. This can only be done with a gp appointment, she needs to start taking it again tomorrow and I am extremely frustrated because I can not get an appointment. At 8 am in the car on the school run, so by time I get home at 9am all after school appointments are gone. Now looking for s different surgery.

I ended up with a doctor due to the fabulous Catherine Street Surgery closing due to retirement. I understood that the set up would be different to what I was use to. But, the surgery appointment system wasn't that bad, the receptionist a bit abrupt and make you feel like you are wasting their time, but I get the impression they get a lot of grief. Nurses are fabulous but then I had an appointment with a doctor, I had kidney stones, it it hard to move with them and I throw up a lot with the pain, I pointed this out and I needed a sick bag in the car for my journey, the doctor SMIRKED at me!!! Said it was my lot in life and sent me away with a large prescription of strong pain killers which will cover next time!! I'm not expecting sympathy, but some understanding.
