I registered with the practice in 2015, because it was close to my weekday lodgings, and for around two years, everything was fine - you could usually get an appointment, and when you attended, your concerns were taken on board, but it’s just not the same anymore.

The lines are almost constantly jammed in the morning, and instead of an organised telephone queue which would enable patients to wait for a receptionist, you’re automatically hung up on and forced to keep trying, usually with no success.

When you do finally get a clear line, it’s rare that somebody answers, because as you’ll notice when you walk in to the surgery, there’s hardly ever somebody on the desk, and you have to ring a bell for assistance every time - it’s a shame that the sound of a ringing phone doesn’t do the trick.

If you’re lucky enough to actually get an appointment, chances are you’ll be waiting at least 45 minutes after your time slot, and when you do finally get seen, the doctor usually treats you as if you’re a simpleton, and isn’t flexible about referring you to a specialist of your choice, instead of just the nearest one.

Leaving this surgery was the best decision that I’ve ever made!!!
