"Breast screening xray staff"

About: Clatterbridge Hospital / Breast surgery

I visited the hospital on may 08,2018 appt time 1450h for my scheduled breast screening test.I got called by the female technician inside the room. She checked my details which is fine then asked me to removed my top and go over the machine..She positioned me to do the examination with very poor patient-staff interaction she didn’t even introduce herself. Now i work in nhs and deals with hundreds of patients everyday but i made sure my patients feel comfortable and welcome esp.they are coming for a procedure which is embarrassing and quite anxious.I had this test done before so i know how uncomfortable It is.but didn’t get any reassurance or explanation that if i cannot hold unto the pressure it will be unsuccessful test. She just did it quickly and told me afterwards.I told her that i wasnt aware of it.I thought the pressure was enough to get good result. If i would have known that i would have tried my best to handle the discomfort and get good views.I felt like she’s in a rush to finish the test and no care with the patient.I wasn’t happy the way she treated me. I have been a patient several times in Clatterbridge but ive NEVER experience this from any staff or dr’s.Its always been a lovely visit. It was a very disappointing appointment today.
