Following quite a bit of weight loss recently I was given dietary information and advice from either Dene Barton or Wellington Community Hospitals, I'm afraid I cannot remember which as I attend both for different things. The weight loss was, I think, a side effect of the medication for Parkinson's Disease and also following a stroke i suffered. The medication left a strange taste in my mouth which affected my appetite. I am now following the dietary advice and fact sheet I was given, have gained weight and am feeling much better as a result. Thank you for the support given.
I have also received good care from the Portman ward at Musgrove Park Hospital where I was admitted following a blood clot on my lung.
All in all it's one thing after another - I'm waiting for the after effects of the blood clot to settle before being readmitted to hospital for an operation on an ovarian cyst.
