Having experienced a fall I was initially treated in A&E with a follow up appointment made to visit the fracture clinic.
At the initial appointment at the fracture clinic my case was overseen and taken up by one of the senior consultants.
The advice and guidance on treatment he gave was second to none and, to my surprise, was able to arrange an operation for three days later.
The day of the operation ran so smoothly with everything fully explained in advance - special thanks to the anaesthetist for her patience. After care and the overnight stay was well run and the care from nurses very efficient.
Prior to discharge a very comprehensive assessment of future treatment required was given by the physiotherapist. All in all a very positive experience and one which totally dispelled the doom and gloom portrayed in the media.
My only disappointment is that I am unable to highlight the names of those who gave exceptional care and attention.
"Excellent Care and Treatment"
