About: Princess Alexandra Hospital / Cardiology

I had chest pain if my wife had intervened I would not be writing this I had 2 stents inserted I was told then more work needs doing it was never explained what work ? I have had 3 pet scans and 3 angioplasty all showing that a problem exists round the back of my heart I have been told medication will control this it doesn't for over a year you forgot about me no letter or reminder now a consultant says it's 2 risky to insert a stent so I have no hope left

Please get in touch with the patient experience team on 01279 827211 as soon as possible or out of hours the duty team on 01279 827879 so that we can look into what has happened here. Please explain that you have been asked to do this after contacting the hospital through NHS Choices.
