"Nurses on the Minor Injuries Unit"

About: Gravesham Community Hospital

My Mum was taken to the minor injuries unit at Gravesend on Thursday 3rd May in the evening due to a bad cut on her finger.

The nurses on the ward at the time were amazing with my Mum, they reassured her and made her feel very relaxed and at ease as well as making us both giggle to take our minds off of the fact that my Mum had injured herself.

The nurse who did a brilliant job of repairing and stitching my Mum's finger back together and made our whole experience at minor injuries unit a pleasant one. The nurse arranged to see my Mum again a few days later to inspect her finger to see how it was healing.

We can't thank the nurse and the staff enough for all their help.

Dear Laura and Hazel

Thank you so much for your wonderful review of the care your mum received at Gravesham Minor Injuries Unit.

We are pleased to read that your mum got all the care she needed for the bad cut on her finger and that the nurses made you feel at ease whilst carrying out the treatment. It is also good to know that your mum was seen again at the unit a few days later to check her finger was healing well. We will ensure the team there are advised of your kind comments and thanks.

Best wishes
