"My husband's treatment by The RBH"

I went in with my husband, first to A&E where they were waiting for him.

He needed a blood transfusion as a matter of urgency.

The staff were a delight.

They were cheerful, kept us fully informed and checked my husband every 10 minutes for blood pressure and also to take bloods. He saw both a Doctor and a surgeon, both very informative.

He was then moved to AMU ward where he was given blood and then they decided to do an endoscopy to find out from where he was bleeding.

The AMU ward is brilliant as there are no visiting restrictions. He was in a side room.

All the staff both nurses and ward admin were so friendly and informative,

They always introduced themselves and could not have been kinder.

He has now been moved to another ward and hopefully will be home soon. Thank you to all the staff we have met, they have made a difficult time very bearable.
