"Drop-in hours are cut for a second time"

Drop-in hours were reduced, this came shortly after they were already cut back. It made me feel that Inclusion doesn't know what they're doing. Last time I was in, I was speaking with someone who was complaining about the cuts to drop-in. The staff told them that complaining to them wasn't enough, and that she needed to write an email.

Hi there, thanks for your important feedback. I can confirm that we have reduced our open access drop-in times recently. We continue to deliver open access drop-ins daily for 2 hours, this includes 2 evening open access drop-ins (one in Aylesbury and one in High Wycombe), so service users can access and have their needs met without a formal set appointment.

We are six months into our new contract so we are continually evaluating our service delivery and this does mean occasional changes. Please be assured this is not 'cut backs', we made this decision to focus staff capacity / time on assessing service users treatment needs (we have more people than ever engaged within ORB, which we think is great news) and we are offering more evidence based inventions such as one to ones and groups, that we know support people and their recovery.

I am disappointed to hear staff feedback when another service user was complaining. Can I apologise they should have dealt with a genuine question / concern more appropriately. I will ensure all our staff team understand why the open access times were reduced personally, its appears our message could have been lost to some of our team.

Please talk to your keyworker if you feel like you need more support to meet your needs, outside the drop-ins.
