"Very positive outcome"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department University Hospital Wishaw / General Surgery (Wards 16-18)

(as a relative),

I wish to thank staff for the care and attention my mum received when she had to attend Wishaw General Hospital. Firstly she was seen very promptly in the Emergency Department where she was looked after by Laura who was very thorough and reassuring, mum was quickly moved to ward 18.

Whilst in the ward the staff were very attentive and mum was treated both with dignity and respect by all staff both in ward 18 and ward 17 where she was moved the next day.

I wish to give special thanks to Dr Obondo and her team. Dr Obondo was very attentive and caring towards my mum she had a lovely bedside manner and ensured tests were carried out quickly thus made a potentially difficult situation have a very positive outcome for which as a family we are all extremely grateful.

Mum is home now and doing very well.

Dear Almcke,

Many thanks for taking the time for taking the time to post your experience while attending University Hospital Wishaw.

I am pleased that you found this a positive experience and the staff will be delighted to read your nice comments.

I will ensure this is passed on to the teams that you mention.

I hope that you are feeling better and recovering well.

Best wishes

Andy
