"Appoitment"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Ear, Nose and Throat

Been to Gp to mid of January when i got ringing hurting ears after a horrible cold.Dr made me a refferral to this hospital for end of March

After few days my app was cancelled

2 Weeks after came another letter saying i cancelled the appoitment

Exactly next day one more with new appoitment for 26 of April no late then a week another one saiyng your appoitment been changed for 2 of May

How is it posible all of this when i really got a serious problem. to get avoided for 4 months and moved and removed all this round?

They couldnt find my appointment so i ring the hospital and he said "well one min after your booking expired is not our problem anymore.you need to go back to GP and get a referral"How rude!!! He didnt even gave me the chance to say is not my fall and i was allready pist off to stay on hold for so long time .i cant sleep at night time,i cant focus at work and every day i was counting the days to get to your hospital!!

I am so disappointed my problem probably is even worst now as pains ar often but ovious as the operator said "is not your problem

It should be as i been on hold all this time and my hope died the last!

I have no words..

Thank you for getting in touch. I’m sorry to hear of your distress caused by the changes to your appointments and the poor attitude you experienced from a member of our staff. This isn’t acceptable.

I hope you have now had your appointment and been seen in the clinic but if you are still having difficulty accessing our service please get in touch with my colleagues in the patient experience team and they will be happy to help you; you can telephone 0115 924 9924 ext 66623 or email QMCPET@nuh.nhs.uk

Kind regards

Emlyn Jones
