After a family bereavement and being involved in it I started to get pins and needles and getting a nervous feeling that I didn't understand what was happening. I ended up having a panic attack and ended up at GPs with my mum. I ended up on citalopram for anxiety. It affected everything from relationships and health. Decided I wanted to come off the medication but it didn't work, ended up going back on. Looked into therapy and found CBT. It wasn't what I first expected when I arrived. I expected someone old who would look down at you and tell you that you are doing something wrong. In my session I was told I was doing wrong but I was given tools to help which I was able to put into use. It was a bit of an eye opener.
