"Waiting time sign needs updating"

About: Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I attended the Thomas Linacre Centre for an X-ray. This went well and there was a short wait.

I was going to wait to have my bloods done but the wait was at least 40 minutes, despite the sign saying "3-4 minute wait". I could not wait this long so now I have to come back to have them taken.

Thank you for your comments regarding the outpatient servies at Thomas Linacre Centre and I am sorry that the information provided on the wating time board was not correct. I shall pass this information to the Manage for the blood clinic for their information so that they can reinforce with staff the need to keep this board current and up to date. Thanks for bringing this to our attention as this will allow us to ensure that the service runs efficiently and keeps our patients correctly informed at all times.

Thank you also for your positive comments regarding your x-ray and I am pleased that this was a positive experience.
