"after care remains off"

The care at the time of my gastric sleeve was very good and the aftercare appointments was good and supportive. however recently (January 21st 18) i was told ive had a stroke, whilst at the hospital they delayed giving me an mri until the Alexander hospital could confirm that it was safe following my gastric sleeve and that the staples used were ok for an mri scanner. They rang the alexander, i rang them and emailed, and left messages with the bariatric ward nurse, that was in January. I am still waiting for confirmation almost 4 months later , potentially putting me in a risky situation and putting the stroke consultant in a tricky position. I need a simple answer of yes or no! so that I can carry on and have the procedure safely.
