"Working under pressure"

About: Peterborough City Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I have twice attended the orthopaedic outpatients clinic following surgery, and realised what pressure the staff are under with very large numbers attending, and waiting times growing longer and longer. Despite this, the staff are cheerful, friendly and professional.

Patients are kept informed of the likely duration of their wait, and while it is annoying to be kept waiting, it is no fault of the staff.

The treatment I have received has been exceptional.

Thank you, PCH. You do a great job and should be applauded for this.
