About: Ardingly Court Surgery

This is an absolute joke of a surgery. I had to phone up 67 times before I finally got through to the reception!! I had very severe stomach pains for 2 months which were not settling and I was told that no doctor could see me, only do a telephone consultation. This was an urgent matter as it felt like my stomach was exploding, and being a medical student I know the dangers of untreated abdominal pain (appendicitis, ruptured ovarian cyst, bowel obstruction, ectopic pregnancy to name a few!!). The doctor on the phone was not helpful what so ever and I told the doctor I thought I had a stomach ulcer. The doctor said to bring a stool sample to the surgery to get tested for H Pylori. I wobbled all the way over to the surgery to collect the sample pot, then came all the way home to fill the pot then walked all the way back to give in the sample. The people at the reception were absolutely useless, asking me why on earth I was giving in a stool sample and didn't want to take it. Long story short, I did have a stomach ulcer and the surgery never informed me! I only found out 4 months later when I saw a different GP for strep throat who proceeded to ask me if I finished my course of Antibiotics for my H Pylori ulcer!!!!! Terrible practice stay far far away
