"Minor operation on my leg"

I attended a day surgery clinic at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.   My appointment was for 10.50 and I was called within a few minutes of that time.

I was taken to the surgery by the nurse Doreen and introduced to David who was to undertake the surgery. Both were very friendly and courteous and this inspired my confidence in them as a team. I was given local anaesthetic and the growth on my leg was excised.  

David described what he was doing at each stage and I had as comfortable and pleasant an experience that was possible in the situation.  

The aftercare and biopsy process was explained before I left.
