"Kidney stone and stent removal."

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

I had a stent fitted in late 2017 after an operation to remove a kidney stone (which I still have). I stayed overnight which wasn't planned and was told the next day the stent would only be in for up to 3 months. About a week later I got a U.T.I and had one right up until a week after the stent came out 6 months later in 2018. I had 5 months of taking antibiotics . Minehead hospital tried removing the stent and now I know why they couldn't as 2 new stones had encrusted themselves around it.

I felt no one at Musgrove was listening to me. I had an infection all over Christmas and New Year (the first without my late husband who died in early 2017, at Musgrove ) and it made a terrible situation even worse.
