In my 40 years on this earth, I have never had such bad support as I've had at this GP practice. All of my children have food allergies, so when the newborn displayed symptoms I took him to the GP immediately.
I was told there "aren't enough symptoms" & that I should continue to feed him the food that was making him ill.
Of course I wasn't going to do this, so we have have had to spend hundreds of pounds to see Drs privately to confirm the issues - the GP still ignores the diagnosis from a private paediatrician & ignores my request for the correct formula for my infant (unfortunately I am unable to breastfeed due to surgery).
Disgusting to deny a baby the right food!!
In addition, when my son present with eczema, I was told to give him antibiotics for it & the GP ignored the actual reason for his eczema - food allergy!
I am not an idiot & have two other children with food allergies so it's clearly in our genes.
The GP's I've seen ignored NICE guidelines & didn't even refer to a specialist or a dietician.
We, as a family, have been hugely let down.
Our usual Dr is amazing but she's been on extended leave.
The reception staff are not very friendly either.
