What could be improved
I have taken my son to the fracture clinic 3 times now. It is the policy of the hospital to hold children's fracture clinic appointments at the end of the day in an effort to keep the children separate from adults. On each occasion the appointment was significantly delayed. On the last occasion my sons appointment was at 4pm and we were seen at 5.30pm. There were still young children waiting when we left. This is totally the wrong time of day for children to have medical appointments, By then they are tired and hungry and need to be at home settling into the evening routine of food, wind down and bed, All the parents there were making comments about being late home to cook the dinner. Please re-consider this decision. If children need to be kept separately then make them the FIRST appointments of the day not the last. Schools are very understanding when it comes to medical issues.
