"Admitted for 48 hours to have IV antibiotics"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

Coltishall ward.

Nursing staff extremely professional. Fantastic patience shown given we had a very attention demanding drug addict within the ward during my stay. The night staff were particularly effective.(20th to 22nd April). The experience was comforting given I had no idea what had caused my infection which resulted in facial swelling to the point I was beginning to lose the sight in one eye. Prior to being admitted to the ward I was impressed with the X ray machinery and the treatment by the doctor who inserted a cannula and performed a series of tests including a referral to the eye department. Provision of food was a cheery affair again with a staff that genuinely wanted to be there.

My treatment was successful and I would like to thank the consultant and the accompanying doctor for "getting it right".
