About: Leicester General Hospital

I visited the endoscopy ward today. I am absolutely petrified of hospitals or anything to do with so it’s always a really big deal and causes me extreme anxiety.

One of the staff nurses today was absolutely incredible, she really took her time with me and even came in and held my hand throughout the whole procedure. I can’t express how grateful I am that she did this.

The whole team who performed my Sigmoidoscopy were absolutely amazing and so patient with me.

The recovery ward was fine and I was dressed and back home shortly after the procedure.

Honestly though what a fantastic team! THANK YOU.
