About: The Princess Royal Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

I had an appointment at the ENT outpatients at 4pm yesterday. I would like to compliment the Consultant & nursing staff in the clinic for a very efficient service. I was seen promptly at 4pm, greeted by a delightful smiling nursing assistant and taken to the consulting room. There I was seen, reassured & physically examined by the consultant and given a diagnosis which alleviated my anxiety that something more serious was wrong with me. I then had further a further examination which again was carried out in a caring and efficient manner.

I am a retired nurse who worked in the NHS for 38 years, so consider myself a fair judge of good caring service. Well done to all!

However, the parking at this hospital can only be described as abysmal. It is impossible to discern easily where the patients parking areas are. This alone would put me off recommending this hospital to anybody.
