the interaction between staff of all ranks and patients

What could be improved

i cannot think of anything that could be improved, if something was worrying me nurses put my mind at rest, if i needed help i only had to ask, always bearing in mind that i was not the only person needing help.

Anything else?

the only comment that i would make is a general one that so very few people use the antisceptic hand gels available, with my husband i am frequently at the hospital for him more than me and even at times of high contamination so very few people used your gel.

i would like to have stood at the doors and waved it under thier noses

I spent some time having a hip replacement in your suite, i could not have recieved better care from kinder nurses in a cleaner more pleasant surroundings anywhere. my love and thanks go toall the ladies and gents working there.

A doctor in thoracic saved my husbands life by noticing a problem and alerting our G P even though this problem was not in their remit, our heartfelt thanks to that person
