"worst service ive ever receieved"

since being highly involved in the recent attack at the Manchester arena on may 22nd and developing post traumatic stress disorder. I tried to get in contact with a therapist to speak to about the events that had unfolded at Ariana Grande. despite my GP doing urgent referrals to healthy minds they still never got in contact. I ended up doing self referral myself where ive had no treatment as of yet and only appointments cancelled and a contract to be signed to say ill turn up and not cancel (which would be classed as automatic discharge) however the staff member never stuck to her part saying they wouldn't cancel. its nearly 12 months on and still ive received no therapy or CBT ive contact the department countless amounts of times with no success with even the resilience hub, my employers contacting them to try and help move things a long with also a mental health service through work (peninsula) who have tried to also contact them. but with failing so far im very disappointed with my service and again still struggling with daily life and unable to return to work due to the field of work im in so without work for so long life is a struggle! so far the general impression of healthy minds Bury is they really don't care at all about their patients which really brings me down a lot.

Thanks for getting in touch. We're sorry to hear you're finding it difficult to access this service, but we are keen to find out more about what's happening so we can support you further. If you contact our Resilience Hub then someone will be happy to take this up for you - phone: 03330 095 071

or email: GM.help@nhs.net.

Alternatively the clinical Lead or service manager at Bury Healthy Minds would be happy to speak to you and look into whether you're getting the right help. If you could please ring 0161 253 5258 and ask for either of those.

We also have a Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) who can help you to raise concerns or get the support you need. Their contact number is 0161 716 3178.
