I had my Gastric Bypass Surgery in April 2015, three years later and I am still so pleased with my results and the journey I undertook with the Bariatric team, ranging from the Bariatric Secretary, Nurse Practitioner and
Nursing Team, another staff member and the Diabetic Team to finally three particular, very skilled Surgeons who all cared for me.
I can not find fault, even though I have experienced a few niggles, which have always been dealt with promptly and accurately.
If you are fortunate to be accepted for any type of Bariatric Surgery, I believe this team to be the best and am so grateful for everything they have collectively achieved for me and my new healthier lease of life.
I successfully lost 75% of my excess weight, almost 8 stone in total. I am now aged 61 and my body has found it's own equilibrium weight wise and I am happy for.
Previously prior to surgery I had spent the whole of my adult life dieting with resulted in dangerous Yo Yo dieting followed my periods of extreme periods self loathing.
Of course surgery would not be possible without the Nursing Staff post op to care for patients.
I had a wonderful experience, the nurses were very attentive and caring.
Thank you to all concerned from the bottom of my heart you have changed my life forever and I am eternally grateful to each and everyone of you.
Kind regards
Deborah Cushman
