"Shockingly bad.."

About: St Andrews Medical Practice.

- you'll wait a month for an appointment (unless you ring up at 8.30 and say it's urgent)

- they take forever to deal with prescription requests, lose them, send them to the wrong pharmacy

- it's impossible to get through to someone on the phone to even book an appointment - you can register for online bookings, but you'll wait 6 weeks for someone to manually input your data onto the system!

- their complaints procedure is incredibly difficult to find on their website and they insist that you write in to the practice manager. If you have any concerns, you can't raise them by email. It's not too cynical to suggest that this is a deliberate attempt to put people off complaining.

I've been registered with 6 or 7 GP surgeries in my life - there is really no question that this is the worst.
