"ankle injury"

About: Whitehill Surgery

have finally got to speak to a g.p after 10 months of trying to speak to one, after ankle injury. The g.p was rather abrupt and dismissive of my concerns, am not asking for kid glove treatment just want my concerns addressed, which to a certain point they were, when said to doctor about the burning itching and pain in and around my ankle the g.p had a tone of annoyance in his voice that i was a pain in the arse for asking such questions and that made me feel rather upset that once again i am made to feel like a bad person for asking for help. So, am dreading having to phone them for anything as they seem more concerned at trying there best to not have any patients at all. I will be leaving this surgery

We appreciate that there are difficulties with access when demand is high, however we do also offer pre booked telephone calls with the doctor. Therefore it is difficult to understand how there would be a wait of this time, however we would of course look into this and your other concerns if you were to contact the practice directly. Once again we would reiterate that it may be more expedient to seek advice from NHS Choices or NHS 111 before contacting the GP.
