About: University Hospital (Coventry) / Maternity

Thank you so much to all the midwives, doctors, health care assistants and students who were involved with the antenatal care and delivery of our son in March.

I would especially like to point up the early pregnancy unit and foetal wellbeing unit staff who were always there for us when we had concerns. Their support was invaluable and my husband and I can't thank you enough for your compassionate care, even when we turned up time and time again!

The whole birthing process for me was a very positive experience, and one I will look back on with such happy memories. I was very grateful to be permitted a planned C section and was so impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the theatre staff. The postnatal team on duty were very attentive, compassionate and encouraging in our aftercare also.

Our sincere thanks to you all.

I hope you and your son are doing well.

I was so pleased to hear that you had such a positive birthing experience in our hospital, and that the whole team, from Early Pregnancy Unit through to Theatres and Recovery took such good care of you.

I will pass your comments onto our Head of Midwifery, so that she can share them with the team.
