"Rude and dismissive"

Was first to arrive on the day with a child with an injured foot that he couldn’t weight bear on, so no queue, but the nurse was very rude.

The nurse asked if I realised this was an ‘urgent care centre’ and that this injury didn’t need that and I should have just given him more pain killers and not come just for a sprain .

I replied that I’d checked the website before I came and it said they treated sprains and minor injuries at brants bridge, not just urgent care cases.

The nurse was so rude and dismissive and made me feel a fool. I’d have seen my own gp but it’s impossible to get appointments!

It’s really not nice to b humiliated this way , I was just looking for reassurance and check id not missed anything on my sons injury.
