"The ward environment"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Geriatric Assessment

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

I am a visitor to ward 10. The lady I visit I am not related to. I work full time and I enjoy the perks of flexible visiting. I also see a big difference in the lady I visit when she has friends and family around her throughout the day.

The ward is clean.

I have had family members in this hospital mainly in the surgical floor and the experience has always been very positive.

I am pleased that you feel open visiting has helped your friend and made a difference to her.

The ward team along with our domestic staff work hard to ensure the wards are kept clean at all times and I am pleased that this is what you found.
