About: University Hospital Wishaw / Geriatric Assessment

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have been an in patient 3 times lately. I find the ward is clean and tidy and well organised.. The nurses and doctors always involve me in my care and especially in my discharge.

The food has changed recently especially the soup. Its not as good.

Dear Lanarkshirelass

thank you so much for writing to us. It is really heartening to hear that you find the hospital is clean and tidy. I oversee the Domestic team and I will make sure they know how good they are! On the not so good comment about the soup... If possible, can you contact our Catering Manager on 01698 366862 to provide her with more detail? Any feedback is very welcomed to allow us to make any changes to make hospital stays more comfortable. The Catering Manager will feedback to me as I oversee the Catering aspect of the service too.
