After a very frustrating wait for this procedure, during which I was catheterised for almost six months, I must say that the surgical team, anaesthetists and the nursing staff on both Elective Care and Mersea Ward have restored my faith in our National Health Service.
I experienced NO pain immediately following the op and now, two weeks later, my functions appear to be getting back to normal without any noticeable long term side effects.
