"Lack of refreshments during stay in Royal Oldham Hospital"

I was taken to Accident and Emergency at Royal Oldham Hospital at midnight. I was diagnosed with a severe chest infection. I was provided with a glass of water straight away and in the morning, I asked if I could get some toast. I was told that someone would bring some and it never came. At lunch time, I noticed other people being provided with sandwiches and drinks and I was not given any. 

I’m not critical of the care I received at this time as it was brilliant. However, I’m concerned for others who may attend the hospital and might not have access to food and drink for an extended period of time.
