"Appointment with the Dr"

I saw the Dr about something which, although not necessarily urgent, was nonetheless causing me to feel slightly anxious. The nature of the appointment was also a cause of some embarrassment for me, but the Dr handled everything with consummate professionalism and courtesy from start to finish. I am very grateful for the way in which he dealt with this sensitive matter and I consider myself to be in good hands.

In addition, I would like to endorse the reception staff for their diligence, attention to detail, and politeness in the dealings I have had with them.

Finally, I would like to say that it is a source of great frustration - indeed anger - to see the way the current government treats the NHS and its staff. They may think that people cannot see the unscrupulous tactics they are employing in their efforts to privatise this wonderful institution, but I, for one, can, and I would like to say that I recognise the crucial role you play in our society. May the long awaited change in policy come soon!
