I was rushed into the Surgical Emergency Ward on 13th April with a blocked kidney stone which had become infected. I have been in different hospitals a number of times in the past but have never before witnessed what happens when it is an emergency.
To watch an excellent team all working so efficiently and calmly was so reassuring.
In fact it wasn't until it was explained to me the next morning that I realised it was serious. The entire staff pull together to create a friendly, calm atmosphere and I could not thank them enough.
My experiences of this hospital, from outpatient to inpatient, have been of the highest order. Thank you Broomfield.
Despite all the current problems in the NHS with serious underfunding, understaffing and restrictions, you are providing an excellent service and are to be congratulated.
My thanks to everyone.
"Excellent level of care"
