I was first admitted to a an e. Due to respiratory issues with a cough. My daughter was accompanied with me. All staff were very efficient and caring. My daughter is also a charge nurse in another area and could not fault my care in any way. Once it was confirmed I was being admitted to high depandancy unit my daughter felt relaxed with reassurance I would be ok. Which meant a lot to me as she had a just finished a long shift. After 3 days of excellent care I was then transferred to medical critical care. I was overwhelmed with the excellent care and attention I received. All staff were first class in all aspects of my care, even when I wasn't the best person to care for. I also was so amazed at the team work all colleagues carried out to emptying bins to serving meals and carrying out other duties as a team. I could not fault any member of staff for anything. Thanks also to sister to taking time to speak to me regarding my fears. Sister please be proud of your wonderful ward and your fantastic out of this world caring staff. I can't fault anyone for my fantastic care. CCU thank you so much.
