I had my son at the Women’s 10 years ago and the experience was fantastic. The nurse spoke a little Urdu and was able to converse with my mother in law which we all remember well.
Such wonderful positive memories.
I wish I had stayed and had my daughter there. My local midwife convinced me to have my daughter at a hospital closer where I had a poor experience.
I have attend Colposcopy at the Women’s for many years. Now discharged from this dept. The female doctors there were brilliant and very easy to talk to. It was only when I had a male doctor on my last visit that he questioned quite rudely my choice of having a coil. And asked me why I felt I needed it! He obviously hadent read my notes to see my history. His approach was wrong. I just put it down to him having a bad day but I do hope he hasent upset anyone else like this.
