Having left an abusive relationship, sold the family home and moved to a completely new area where we knew no one, by depression reared its ugly head.
I visited my GP in Dec 2017, I finally got an appointment in April 2018.
In the meantime, the abusibe ex took me to court for access to our children. He already had access and this was nothing but malicious. As a result I took an overdose, where I was also treated badly!
I turn up for my appointment and mention on-going court case. The session is stopped and it's explained that it's the policy of insight healthcare that they do not see people with on-going court hearings. I smiled politely, said my goodbye as their was talk about discharging me from their service.... only to be absoultly furious when I left.
It's no wonder people wind up dead through depression. I feel like a common criminal. Myself and my family have suffered enough and this has been very much a last straw.
I am an NHS nurse, never before have I felt so utterly failed by the NHS. Disgusting!
